The structural form of the window frees me to build and dream in syncopation. I first assemble the frame with a sketchy idea of where I am going next. My ideas develop throughout a staccato process from beachcombing and collecting materials, to storing and sorting, to choosing, to constructing and finishing. I am intrigued by the history of found objects: wooden spoon, tin lid, chopsticks, or car gasket. When integrating the pieces, I transform their origins yet I know it is a game for the viewer to recognize them and see their evolution.
